Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Blood Pressure at Pizza Hut

Fast-food restaurants like Pizza Hut are not recommended to dine-in if you are diagnosed with high blood pressure. Most pizzas at Pizza Hut are high in sodium and hence you must stick to one or max. two slices of any regular size pizza to limit your sodium intake. Try out the salads as they are not only healthy but also keeps you full for a longer period. However, you must ensure that you don't order the salads without any extra dressing.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Easy, casual place to pop in to for a quick bite!

Don't do delivery! Placed a order online. After a hour I called and they said it was a shift change and they are just now getting to my order

  • Tracey H.

The only place in Miami Beach that I can find a gluten free, dairy free pizza. Thin crust and the kids love it!

    (4)
  • Primo L.

Not bad, just not very good. With Beyond and Lenny's on the same street, there's really no reason to hit up Dude unless it's Friday night, when those two places are closed. My kids thought the pie was bland and the fries were soggy.

    (2)
  • Erin B.

Great pizza, speedy delivery. Fresh ingredients, pan style crust. Sausage and veggie pizzas were great.

  • Lou D.

I had no intention of entertaining some 41st Street pizza spot, but felt compelled to walk in. I felt a warm feeling come over me as I eyed the shot of Jeff Spicoli (on the awesome "Miami Tribune" mural) while the warm sound of Warrant played overhead. The service was friendly and fast. I ordered a whole wheat pie with light sauce/light cheese, tofu, eggplant and 'shrooms. Totally delish. So unexpected. Great service, reasonable price and great product-- so unheard 'round here. And like any proper pizza spot, they deliver!

  • Matt M.

Pizza dude ripped off my wife. She ordered delivery to the hotel while I was away. Took twice as long as she was told, and they charged her for drinks they didn't deliver! They didn't bring change. Terrible service, believe every other person here saying the same thing.

    (1)
  • Xasperniak B.

I was hesitant in visiting as they spam the sidewalk with Seinfeld clips on repeat, and have the option to play with your food, which I dislike. After trying a small cheese pie recently, carry out, my delay and skepticism was justified. Dough bland as Lenny's but with less perfection in finish and the cheese quality and sauce not as good. Too dry for sure, and not spicy enough sauce. Have heard the philly may be worth a try here though, just not pizza

    (1)
  • Frank M.

Not back in New York but fresh, made with care and you can build one right. AND BBQ wings are great. I order in often...

  • Damian N.

Please watch out. Food poisoning twice here. The first time, I didn't realize it was from Pizza Dude. My wife and I take my daughter here because it's a great place that allows the kids to make their own pizza. However, the second time I got violently ill in three weeks, my wife did as well and we both ate the pepperoni pizza. When I told a friend, he mentioned that he had a similar experience and noticed that they leave their meats and cheese out unrefrigerated. If you do some basic research on the internet you can see that it only takes 1 hour for meat to go bad. Next time, maybe I'll take my daughter here to put on the chef hat and make the pizza, but we'll actually eat somewhere else.

Zero customer service. I ordered a pizza delivered and I'm 6 blocks away my hotel. I was told 30-45 minutes. At 45 minutes, I called. Oh, it'll be an hour. I call the concierge to alert me for the arrival. I call at an hour. Oh, it'll be 1 hour 20 mins I call at 1 hour 20 mins. "Oh he's been there for 5 minutes." I go to lobby. No pizza. Concierge who's been there for 1 hour says he's seen no one. I call again, and ask what they're going to do- discount? Free? Nothing! Then the driver/ manager walks up. He was wrong address. He didn't offer anything. I said, I'm not paying. He turns around with food and leaves. Wtf. Really! REALLY? What an awful way to run a business

This place sucks, I had a late night order after I long trip and was starving. Called it in 45 min before close and they never showed up. Don't waste your time

We really liked the pizza here. Has a pretty good crust. You can see the toppings they put on your pizza and it all looks pretty fresh. Had fried mushrooms for appetizer which was pretty good each had a personal pizza. And for desert had the Nutella pizza w Strawberries & Banana. It could've used a little more Nutella but it was still good. I will visit here again

The best pizza! Very healthy! Delicious! You can order it gluten free. Less fat than other places, more organic. Also, the salads are really good! :)))

Tried the pizza for the first time and liked it. We ordered dairy free cheese and is still yummy! Nice job dudes ;) my new regular pizza delivery.

  • Robyn P.

Just discovered that Pizza Dude on 41St street, a few blocks away from where I teach Pilates, has gluten-free pizza!! And they have awareness of the whole gluten free issue, as they took the time to explain they are not a dedicated gluten free kitchen (which I am ok with), and when I requested they just don't make the pizza on top of a counter full of flour and that they make the crust crispy, they did not give me an attitude. Yay, for good service in Miami Beach. And the pizza is delicious.

    (5)
  • Tito C.

Try someplace else as we found the crust was dry as it seemed that there was a miniscule amount of sauce and there were few pieces of mushrooms and red onions on this large pie. There are better pizza makers on Miami Beach.

    (1)
  • Scott K.

DO NOT EAT HERE! Got to the hotel late and ordered pizza because nothing else was available. I should have gone without. 45 minutes and $30 later I had a cold mangled 12" pizza (see picture) with about 10 pieces of pepperoni on it. $2.50 for a bottle of generic water that costs $0.25 from Costco. The crust was chewy and greasy and was just not good.

Not even going to try it... Called to place a delivery. Dude was rude and hung up on me.

    (1)
  • Jenniffer R.

Where do I begin? If I can rate this place below 1 I would. I received my order 4 hours later. Place my order at 6:48pm and couldn't contact them until 10:10pm food arrived 10:50pm. Hung up on me and the rep from eat24 multiple times, confirmed order and then they said it didn't exist. Refused to discount or refund my money. Rude and the food was terrible especially the fried mushrooms they were just wet, saggy and slimy so nasty! And to top it off the margarita pizza was just cheese with tomatoes on top that's not even remotely close. Any positive reviews from them had to have been done by their own employees. Please stay far away from this place!!!!!!!! Sad part is as hungry as we were we still couldn't finish it.

The worst service ever... Do not try ordering to your hotel , 2 hours and all they can offer is explanations ! Will never call them again

  • Michael S.

The Dude abides on this one! Wow! What a breath of fresh air! A gourmet pizza joint that won't break the bank?! It does exist and for us locally, it's so close it's almost too good to be true. The Pizza Dude is fantastic for many reasons, but the choice of fresh toppings, dough, cheese, sauce, meats and other options will verify that completely. The staff is very friendly, they work quick and make your pie right in front of you from scratch, and make you feel welcome. Can I say enough about this place? Probably not, just that we cannot wait to go back! Enjoy!

  • Camila A.

So we just moved to the beach and know no good pizza places around. I started looking and this one had pretty good ratings. Pizza came on time and I think even faster than expected!! And at first we thought oh yea this pizza is awesome because we are so hungry but then we ate more and more and it was I must say THE BEST PIZZA! Very tasty! We go lt the margarita pizza. The tomatoes seemed seasoned! Totally I found my pizza place and recommended it 100%!!!!

  • Ruta P.

I like the whole concept here that you get to pick your own topics and they make it just the way you want it. I went here several times while on vacation in Miami Beach because my little brother loves pizza. They also have a Nutella, strawberries and banana pizza which was also pretty good! The prices are reasonable and the place is clean.

oh shoot! This was in reference to "marios the Baker" pizza. I had both screens open. So sorry! 5 stars Btw.. you have a pizza place pretending to be next to you siphoning your clients. Hope that notice is any consolation for the mistake. Ill order form you soon

Excellent local pizza spot, very diverse options and definitely not divey. Located in a nice walking neighborhood to get away from beach crowds.

  • Chris K.

Outstanding pizza!!! Great place to enjoy a pizza followed by ice cream. We ordered two pizzas and both were absolutely delicious! Hot, thin crust, right amount of sauce and melted cheese combined with the toppings made it an A+ pizza. Service, staff and atmosphere was excellent.

EHhh where to start? To sum up my great first experience with them: 1- Took over 1 Hour and 55 minutes to deliver 2 Small Pizzas. 2- They lied to me about driver already being on route. 3- Messed up BOTH pizzas. 4- Both pizzas arrived COLD. So now how the story goes. I placed an order through Eat24 for 2 small pizzas. The estimated time was originally 45 mins, then changed to 60 minutes which is fine. 1 hour and 15 goes by I just check with Eat24 to see the status. They say "Driver is already on route, should be there in about 10 minutes" 25 minutes go by....still no driver. I call the restaurant and this is what really blew my mind. Me: "Hey I have placed an order about 1 hour and 40 minutes ago, I was told driver was on the way..." Pizza Dude: "Yes, driver is on the way" Me:"Yes but I was told that about 30 minutes ago." Pizza Dude: "He will get there" I hang up. He did not give a flying f*. Not even an apology ?? At least a "Gee i'm sorry it is taking us about 2 hours to deliver 2 small pizzas 1.5 miles away from your house" He just didn't give a damn. Some minutes went by and the driver called asking for my address because he was finally leaving to come deliver it. Ohh...whatever happened to "driver already left"? The pizza did arrive after 1 hour and 56 minutes. The guy gave me some B.S About oh the computer broke down and that's why it took us 2 hours...or whatever. I'm sure the computer wasn't broken down to charge my payment right. I bring them in to devour them and first thing i notice is that my Buffalo Chicken was substituted by just ....chicken. That was fun...I paid for a specialty pizza and got a regular 1 topping. And the other pizza was missing one of the Premium toppings that I ordered and paid for. Congrats guys for duping me really well. Bravo! Not only that, they were so cold I had to microwave them, it's always fun to eat microwaved pizza. First and last experience. Never again. Slow, Zero integrity, zero customer service. Order at your own risk.

Our hotel was located 4mins away and we waited over 2.5 hours for a pizza. Eat24 contacted them and they aplogized for the delay... Pizza still never made it. Order here if you want to play pizza roulette.

Always excited to have GF offerings. Not excited when service stinks and food isn't edible. If you offer GF crust expect customers to want it heated in the pan it comes in - not your flour filled pans for regular pizza. Use a non stick spray that works for the pan so your customers can actually eat the crust. Only the top of my pizza was edible the bottom was still stuck. Person behind counter was rude and had no interest in accommodating - I have no interest in returning! I advised owner who said he'd look into it. I won't be back to try it.

First of all the Groupon deal is fantabulous.. Big big thanks to Pizza Dude for having such a great deal to offer! The restaurant setting and décor is very modern and the place is very clean. The restaurant is located in Miami Beach, very close to the ocean and other local dining, entertainment, salons, etc. Like most Miami Beach businesses, there is no parking lot, so you have to find street parking which is about $1/ hour right now. Luckily the restaurant is quick to serve your personal pizza, so unless you want to stay and have drinks (and yes they have beer), you will only need about an hour to enjoy your plate. So considering the name of the business "Pizza Dude," one would only assume that the word dude is the central nomenclature of this cafeteria-style pizza dwelling. They have 2 pages, one on each wall, of the "Dude Chronicle," which essentially is a timeline/declaration of movies and music that promulgate the power of the word "Dude." For example, the infamous phrase "Dude, Where's My Car?" is highlighted in this Chronicle, amongst other information on the history of "Dude." The restaurant was even praised on the Miami's own TV Deco Drive: youtube.com/watch?v=prCy… So after you have watched the video, you can see that once you enter this restaurant, you have the power to build you own pizza (check out the picture I posted also). I personally chose the following toppings: grilled chicken, tomato sauce, spinach, tomatoes, mozzarella, and feta cheese. My husband got tomato sauce, mushrooms, Italian sausage (at least I think that was Italian sausage- they had two kinds I believe), mozzarella, and feta cheese. OMGeee it was sooo good. SO fresh and the pizza sauce was excellent. Everything was cooked to perfection and it took about 10 minutes to receive our fresh out of the oven personal pizzas. With the Groupon also came an appetizer and dessert. We ordered mozzarella sticks and the apple pie pizza with vanilla ice cream respectively. Both were very good, and the apple pie pizza was not too sweet, perfect for complementing the sweet vanilla ice cream. Needless to say, we could not finish everything, and had to take most of our food to go. This is great because we had dinner for later! Although we had the Groupon, I think the value of the food here is good for the price. I believe a 10-inch personal pizza ranges from $7.99-$10.99. Beer was around $4 a bottle, and the dessert is about $5.95 I believe. Fresh ingredients and very nice staff. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Cafeteria style restaurants are taking over!!

I could say first and last time I order from here, Not only did I wait close to 2 hours for a 45 to 1 hour wait time, but they got my order wrong and the pizza was COLD. When I called back all they could tell me was that they were sorry and sorry for the inconvenience. 0% of me ever putting a order here again next time going straight to Amicis. Building loyalty is key for a pizzeria, by making great pizza and treating your customers right

Hot and delicious pizza made right before your eyes. Good prices for quality made to order pies. Got a 10" 4 topping pizza for $10 and a 14" 4 topping pizza for $17. Large selection of high quality toppings available - in particular, the spicy sliced sausage is really good. Unlike some reviews with pics of a thicker hand tossed pizza crust, our pizzas were crispy thin crust; not sure what's going on here, but we really liked the thin crusts - would probably even prefer them to the thicker crust. The tomato sauce is fresh and tasty. The mozz cheese is perfectly smooth yet stringy even to the last slice; they also have a selection of cheeses including feta, etc. In addition to the parm cheese and crushed pepper shakers, they have dried herbs and garlic powder shakers among many available sauces. Definitely will come here again. Pros: build your own pizza, fresh ingredients Cons: none

This place was great. It was awesome trying out the Kramer Experience. I think its a great first date or even a date night idea. Definitely fun for kids if you have a few laying around, bored. Lol. Parking isn't that great because its the beach but there are a few public parking lots around.

All the reviews on this place seemed great. I gave it a shot and it was a miss. The delivery took upwards of an hour on a Thursday night. The pizza was cold and the mozzarella sticks tasted like they were microwaved. 2 stars are for the Aztec salad and brownie. Would recommend ordering from a chain for a lot less.

This place is great, and the staff is super friendly (Audie!)! We've ordered pizza, sandwiches, salads and desserts in our several visits, and all have been fresh and delicious, with great healthy options (like wheat, gluten-free, etc.) available and quick service. A great option to have in the area and will definitely keep coming back! Update: while I still love Pizza Dude, it's somewhere I'll go only to eat in or take out. Our last few delivery orders have turned out a bit cold and not too crispy (even when asking for an extra crispy crust) so we've ended up popping them in our oven.

  • Tom R.

Decided to give this place a second chance after getting really rude service the first time (right after they first opened) and unfortunately I had another bad experience at Pizza Dude. I ordered pepperoni and black olives through the Grub Hub app, but for some unknown reason the restaurant also added some really greasy chunks of sausage that saturated the entire pizza with a layer of oil. Ekk. Didn't notice until I got home and I had to pick off all the sausage, but the pizza was already ruined with the grease and the taste left behind by the sausage. On the bright side, the service was friendlier this time, and the pizza would have been good had they just followed my instructions. Hopefully, third time will be the charm, especially since they are only a block away from our house.

Ive ordered lunch a couple of times since my job is just a block away. First time i got a Sub which was great but they forgot to add the cucumbers and tomatoes i had added and the third time when i ordered the chicken ceasar salad (which i love) they forgot the dressing. Nonetheless, my coworkers always order pizza and they love it !

Growing up in Chicago and currently living in Manhattan, I know what good pizza tastes like and these dudes do it right. I had a Big Lebowski delivered to the hotel and the tender steak, fresh vegetables, and chewy crust were a treat. As a plus it was easy to order via Eat24, delivery was quick, and the driver was very professional (gave a call on my cell as requested). For their sides, I tried the fried mushrooms, onion rings, meatballs, and fries. Mushrooms and rings were delicious and crisp (sauces also good), meatballs were decent, and fries soggy*. Overall glad I tried their sides. @Pizza Dudes, glad you opened this awesome place. Keep up the great work! *When I ate in later on, they were hot and crisp. So a good choice if you are eating in :-) Edit- On second delivery order, fries were hot and delicious

We ordered delivery service, pizza was not very good, the dough in particular, maybe Bc I got the whole wheat?? The Philly cheese steak was blah, the salad I got was decent. The Nutella pizza barely had any Nutella on it, and the crust was hard as a rock. The delivery was fast and the driver very nice.

  • ROCKITSOBE L.

Staff is very friendly and even when busy cleaning up our plates. I love that you can do individual pizzas at a great price- even have the gluten free crust. The pizzas are good with many options for toppings, but I would not say it is my top 3 places for pizza. My mom loves the cheesecake dessert it was enough for 4 people. They do serve limited alcohol, but have chilled glasses for it!!! Prosecco was pretty good. I don't have kids, but looks like kids can make their own pizzas even have aprons and chef hats for them to get into character. I don't think it cost any extra just a nice touch for kiddies.

Ordered from Pizza Dude during my stay in Miami and have not had worse pizza or customer service. The driver called to tell us he had gone to a house 2 miles away and when I told him what the actual address was, he insisted that the restaurant did not deliver there despite my friend having ordered to the house before. When we got the pizza, he still insisted that we were wrong even though the address we had given them while ordering was printed right there on the receipt! The pizza was burnt, cold, and disgusting. The mozzarella sticks were inedible. $30 total. When I called the restaurant, they still insisted that I had given them the wrong address. This place can not be for real!!

So I feel that I need to update my review because my original review was only based on their Salads. Well, I've had their salad twice already and love it. Today, my third visit, I decided to order one of their Gluten-Free Pizzas. I am so glad I did because it was delicious! I don't often get to eat pizza due to gluten sensitivities so this was definitely a treat! I don't think they make the crust there but it was a very good crust, usually gluten free crusts are too dry and crunchy, this one was perfect! I ordered the Spicoli (see photo), generous with toppings and everything on there was great! The service is also excellent! I will be back soon! :)

Worst. Delivery. Ever. Don't bother if you want a pizza within 90 minutes. Just awful service.

Loved the Big Lebowski. Also the crust is fantastic and the balsamic glaze is a great idea. They deliver very quickly and will order again from pizza do.

I wanted to like this place so bad because it's so close to my apartment, but I didn't have a great experience :( I purchased the Yelp deal and ordered the Gluten free Maui pizza. When I went to pick it up the guy at the register told me I couldn't use the Yelp deal because I had to spend a certain amount, which it doesn't say it anywhere by the way, but I was looking around on what else I can get and he decided he would make an exception, I was grateful for that but when I got the pizza it was cold and part of the pizza was over turned and not on the dough it was a mess. The taste was just ok. Sadly I will not go back.

Ordered pizza online and arrived 30 minutes later and still had to wait for the pizza. I asked for a soda and the guy didn't even use the register and the guy asked me to put the money in the tip jar. However, the pizza is great. Both, regular and whole wheat doughs.

Love the concept, margarita pizza made my way, whole wheat crust, no sauce, mozzarella, ricotta frsh tomatoes, basil, and fresh garlic!Yummy crunchy crust....Also love the Salads, the house blue cheese dressing is especially delicious.Buffalo chicken pizza is a yummy surprise. I also love the Coke machine with countless choices and combinations available.

Great spot!!! The food is delicious, reasonably priced, and the staff is super helpful and friendly!!! I never eat on 41st Street because the places are either dirty or not appealing in any way, but this place is neither! Extra perk: their soda fountain is the one that dispenses 50+ different flavors! Yum! Great for kids too because they can actually assemble their own pizza at the table! Go check it out!

Overpriced in my opinion. I'll give them props for the homemade crust but overall it wasn't that satisfying! Ordered the Maui, tasted like a chain pizza... We also wanted to try the Nutella pizza since the pictures looked appetizing but it just wasn't good.

You know, it's an interesting thing... You can tell yourself on Monday...that after a long work-week, you're going to treat yourself on Friday night (because you've behaved and made dinners in all week long as well!). It's also interesting that we (the daughter and I) can declare as early as Monday that the menu in the middle of the kitchen table is Pizza Dude, because, we already know that the reward for surviving an entire work week will be just that - Pizza Dude! Must tell you something... And alas, here we are again, writing a Post Action Report about our second visit to the lil Dude's Pizza shop there on 41. I think I really like the Friday night thing, just around 6pm, because we get our order taken really quick, with lots of space to move around and find a table, and just admire the throngs of diners as they begin to liven the place up. Now, don't take it wrong about what it's like BEFORE the crowd settles in, because quite frankly, I like getting in BEFORE the crowds, because we get the best seat (even though EVERY seat is good) in the house! Another tremendous dining experience: 14" Maui combo, easy cheese. Dinner-size chicken Caesar salad. 2 drinks (from that AMAZING 120-flavor combo Coke(tm) machine. 25 packets of parmesan/romano cheese, straight from the packet! (LOL!) The salad makes its way out in about 5 minutes...perfect timing. The bowl is appropriately sized for the price, is never overpowering in the Caesar dressing, with big'ol chunks of warm chicken breast, and crunchy, garlicky croutons. (We don't need no stinkin' Carrabbas Caesar salad just to enjoy a Caesar salad! :P) This salad hits.the.spot! Dee-lish! After a good duration of time to indulge in our hail Caesar salad, out comes a beautiful (chef-prepared this time - we made it ourselves the first time) Maui pie. So, so, SO the way I like it! Easy cheese, chocked FULL of toppings all very nicely spread out, cooked nice-n-crispy done, and piping hot! Now, you never need to add anything to these triangles of beauty, but I LOVE dolling my slices up with the table-supplied parmesan, oregano, crushed red peppers, and garlic salt. I just LOVE the added flavor, but let me assure you, you don't NEED to because it's already darn good-n-tasty! For myself and my daughter, the pizza provides 4 yummy-licious slices each, with a good heaping helping of hail Caesar, and we've got just enough room left for those classic "World's Smallest Cookies". Two of each flavor, and we are like crazy lil kids with happy tummies and energy to boot! Thanks again, guys n gals. You keep doing what you're doing...and it's obvious why the crowds keep pouring in. You keep giving that Customer Care that you do, and the crowds will keep pouring in. Until next time!

My kid passed out of starvation. It took them 1 hour 45 minutes to bring a small pizza and some wings. Worst place ever. DO NOT GO

  • Jeff N.

The pizza was very good and salads were fresh and generously sized for the price. They need to work out a few bugs in their operations but overall it was a great experience and I would definitely go back. Pizzas were a little on the small size so at $15-$18, certainly not a bargain. Loved the "Dude" graphics and the "dial-a-drink" soda machine.

Place was very clean and the employees were very friendly. Food was quick to come and hot. Salad was much nicer than expected. Pizza has a thin crust but was cooked perfectly. They obviously take pride in their restaurant and for the price we had no complaints. We will visit again before our trip ends!

To say our experience was disappointing would be an understatement. I went on Monday evening with my parents and my two small children. There were two employees behind the register. The one who took our order didn't know the answer to any of our questions, and the one who was knowledgeable, Walter, was just plain rude!! He gave short terse answers and no smile or pleasantries. We went to get forks and knives and they were out!! Had to wait 5 mins after pizza delivered and then I had to go over to ask for it! AND THEY WERE OUT OF APPLE JUICE AND MILK FOR THE KIDS! Again, no apologies or offers of discount for customer satisfaction. Our order was placed and it took ten minutes to get the ingredients for the kids to make their pizza (usually takes 2). We finally received the pizzas and they were made with white instead of wheat as we ordered. So frustrated, I went to tell Walter, to which he replied, "ok, well it wasn't written down"! No apology, just a rude nasty attitude and reply. Clearly the cashier was being trained and didn't know how to take an order and they are just not trained in customer service at all!!! I have never felt so insulted and received such poor customer service. I will not be going back. There are plenty of pizza places on 41st street. The kids being able to spread tomato sauce is def not enough of a perk!! What a disappointment.

Ver casual dining with good food and reasonable prices. Great pizza and salads. Sunshine Salad was fresh and delicious and my daughter was totally quiet for 15 minutes while chowing down on pizza. I did have a taste of her pizza for "review purposes", and it was great. Meatball panini was surprisingly good as well.

Great little pizza place on 41st st. Was on vacation and bumped into this original pizza parlor. You create your own style of pizza. It was a great hit with my picky kids. They have all sorts of ingredients. I liked the whole wheat crust and tofu option with veggies and my kids loved their own choices. They also loved the soda machine. The staff was helpful and friendly. Delish!

I like the whole concept here that you get to pick your own topics and they make it just the way you want it. I went here several times while on vacation in Miami Beach because my little brother loves pizza. They also have a Nutella, strawberries and banana pizza which was also pretty good! The prices are reasonable and the place is clean.

Not bad, just not very good. With Beyond and Lenny's on the same street, there's really no reason to hit up Dude unless it's Friday night, when those two places are closed. My kids thought the pie was bland and the fries were soggy.

Pizza dude ripped off my wife. She ordered delivery to the hotel while I was away. Took twice as long as she was told, and they charged her for drinks they didn't deliver! They didn't bring change. Terrible service, believe every other person here saying the same thing.

DO NOT GO

Enjoy!

Our hotel was located 4mins away and we waited over 2.5 hours for a pizza. Eat24 contacted them and they aplogized for the delay... Pizza still never made it. Order here if you want to play pizza roulette.

Ordered pizza online and arrived 30 minutes later and still had to wait for the pizza. I asked for a soda and the guy didn't even use the register and the guy asked me to put the money in the tip jar. However, the pizza is great. Both, regular and whole wheat doughs.

  • Nasha P.

Overpriced in my opinion. I'll give them props for the homemade crust but overall it wasn't that satisfying! Ordered the Maui, tasted like a chain pizza... We also wanted to try the Nutella pizza since the pictures looked appetizing but it just wasn't good.

Place was very clean and the employees were very friendly. Food was quick to come and hot. Salad was much nicer than expected. Pizza has a thin crust but was cooked perfectly. They obviously take pride in their restaurant and for the price we had no complaints. We will visit again before our trip ends!

Delish!

The best pizza! Very healthy! Delicious! You can order it gluten free. Less fat than other places, more organic. Also, the salads are really good! :)))

I like the whole concept here that you get to pick your own topics and they make it just the way you want it. I went here several times while on vacation in Miami Beach because my little brother loves pizza. They also have a Nutella, strawberries and banana pizza which was also pretty good! The prices are reasonable and the place is clean.

Not bad, just not very good. With Beyond and Lenny's on the same street, there's really no reason to hit up Dude unless it's Friday night, when those two places are closed. My kids thought the pie was bland and the fries were soggy.

Pizza dude ripped off my wife. She ordered delivery to the hotel while I was away. Took twice as long as she was told, and they charged her for drinks they didn't deliver! They didn't bring change. Terrible service, believe every other person here saying the same thing.

Not back in New York but fresh, made with care and you can build one right. AND BBQ wings are great. I order in often...

Worse pizza EVER! The cardboard it was packed in was tastier... Papa John's FTW.

Worst. Delivery.

Ordered pizza online and arrived 30 minutes later and still had to wait for the pizza. I asked for a soda and the guy didn't even use the register and the guy asked me to put the money in the tip jar. However, the pizza is great. Both, regular and whole wheat doughs.

Place was very clean and the employees were very friendly. Food was quick to come and hot. Salad was much nicer than expected. Pizza has a thin crust but was cooked perfectly. They obviously take pride in their restaurant and for the price we had no complaints. We will visit again before our trip ends!

Delish!
